Overview

The SSO Account Binding page is part of the Single Sign-On (SSO) integration flow. When a user logs in via an external identity provider (e.g., corporate SSO), the system checks whether the SSO identity matches an existing RBS account. If potential matches are found, this page allows the user to select and bind their SSO identity to an existing account.

Key Features

  • 🔍 Account Detection: The system automatically searches for RBS accounts that may match the SSO user's identity (based on email or other identifiers).
  • 🃏 Account Cards: Matching accounts are displayed as selectable cards, each showing the account's username and email.
  • 🔗 Bind Account: Select an account and click Bind Account to link the SSO identity to the chosen RBS account.
  • ❌ Cancel: If no match is appropriate, click Cancel to return to the regular login page.
  • ⏳ Waiting for Approval: If admin approval is required for SSO binding, the user will see a waiting status until the administrator processes the request.

Flow

  1. User initiates login via SSO (external identity provider).
  2. The system detects the SSO identity and searches for matching RBS accounts.
  3. If matches are found, the user is redirected to this page.
  4. User selects the correct account and confirms the binding.
  5. Once bound, future SSO logins will automatically log into the selected RBS account.

Error Handling

  • If the OAuth hash has expired or is invalid, an error message is displayed with an option to try regular login.
  • If no candidate accounts are found, a "No Candidates" message is shown with a link to login or register.
  • If the binding process fails, an error alert provides details and suggestions.
